Sunday's Scores

Top 25:

Florida St. 58 (12-4, 0-2) - 4 losses have come to Pitt, Wisc., Clemson, UNC.
(2) North Carolina 84 (14-1, 1-0) - Haven't lost since Nov. 22; Closest game since loss was vs. Ohio St. 98-89.

(9) Kansas 70 (13-2) - Won 7 straight; vs. Okla. St. on Wednesday.
South Carolina 54 (10-3)

South Florida 48 (9-7, 0-2) - Teams like this and Rutgers, Seton Hall, and Cinci, are why the Big East doesn't deserve to be in consideration for the toughest conference.
(10) Pittsburgh 69 (14-2, 2-0) - I'm still undecided abouth how good they are; lost their 2 big games vs. Wisconsin and Okla. St.

Syracuse 70 (12-4, 1-1) - Best win of the season.
(15) Marquette 58 (12-4, 0-2) - Since starting out 7-0 have lost to North Dakota St, Wisc., Providence, and now Syracuse; 3 of 4 losses were at home.

Mississippi St. 84 (9-5, 0-1) - Lost 3 straight
(19) Tennessee 92 (13-2, 1-0) - Won 9 straight, but 3 straight road games @ Vandy, Ohio St, & Auburn.

Other Scores:

Wichita St. 87 (9-5, 1-3) - Lost 5 of last 6; N. Iowa, SIU, MO St, Creighton, Indiana St, and Bradley all have better RPI's.
Missouri St. 95 (11-3, 3-1)

Stanford 76 (9-4, 1-2) - Came East to get a win after rough Pac-10 start.
Virginia 75 (9-4, 1-0) - Next 2 @ UNC & BC, then vs. Maryland; lose all 3 and season will be in big trouble.

Rutgers 54 (8-7, 1-1) - Rare conference road win.
Cincinnati 42 (9-6, 0-1) - Can't lose this game at home; now the NIT bid may not even be there by the end of the year.

Kentucky's Opponents:

Michigan St. 51 - 2nd straight loss; win vs. Texas on Nov. 16 is only impressive win; why were they ranked in the coaches' poll?
Indiana 73 (10-4, 1-1) - Getting no credit for all their close losses to good teams (Bulter, Duke, Kentucky, Ohio St.); 3rd best team in Big 10 in my opinion.

Kent St. 63 (7-7, 0-1)
Miami (OH) 65 (5-8, 1-0) - Tough non-confernce schedule could pay off now that they are facing easier competition.
