Wednesday's Scores

Top 25:

Pennsylvania 64
(2) North Carolina 102 - Enter conference play at 12-1 and start off with a pretty easy conference schedule until @ Clemson Jan. 17th.

Louisville 62 - Not a bad loss, but if they lose at South Fla. (9-6) in their next game it will be a long season for the Cardinals.
(17) Notre Dame 78 - Play first road game of the season @ G-Town on Saturday.

(20) Air Force 81 - Will be fighting for 1st in the MWC with UNLV.
Colorado St. 75

(23) Clemson 68 - Impressive win on the road where FSU was 9-0 including a win over Florida; stay undfeated with 15-0 record.
Florida St. 66

Villanova 56
(25) West Virginia 67 - Go to 2-0 in the Big East.

Other Scores:

Gonzaga 87 - Trailed by 34 at halftime; what has happened to this team? could end up on the outside in March even with the difficult schedule; 4th straight loss and just 4-6 since starting off 5-0.
Virginia 108

Kansas St. 66 - Ends 6 game winning streak and now have to go to Texas A&M to open up conference play.
Xavier 76

Purdue 59 - Very bad way to open up the conference season after a pretty good 11-3 non-conference record; a loss to a 7-8 team looks bad when you're fighting for a spot in the tournament.
Minnesota 65

Illinois 61 - 2nd straight loss (Xavier); might be a rough Big 10 season.
Michigan 71 - Are going to have to be really impressive in the Big 10 if they hope to make it into the tournament.

Houston 70
Kentucky 77 - 7th straight win; All 3 losses have come to ranked teams (UCLA, UNC, Memphis).

Kentucky's Opponents:

Western Carolina 53
South Carolina 67

DePaul 53
St. John's 64

Chattanooga 56
Furman 69
