Weekly Poll Rant
The new AP and Coaches' polls came out today and both have UNC at the top which I would agree with. It's hard to determine who is better than who right now, so you could re-arrange numbers 6-25 and make a good argument for it. What I don't understand is why some of these teams are still getting votes.
In the AP Poll:
(24) UConn 188 votes - there is absolutely no justification for ranking this team right now. They've played 2 good teams this year and got embarrassed in both games (WVU, LSU).
(29) Marquette 69 votes - 5-4 after 9-0 start including losses at home to NORTH DAKOTA ST., Wisconsin, and Providence, and @ Syracuse.
(36) Wichita St. 10 votes - Obviously the people making these polls haven't heard that they've lost 5 of 6 to New Mexico, USC, Northern Iowa, SIU, and Missouri St with the only win over Bradley. They are currently 8th in their mid-major conference!
