4 Southern Illinois 58 - Defense always keeps them in a game, and they were just short on talent tonight.
1 Kansas 61 - I think they let up after beating UK and seeing SIU; a game like this will prepare them for UCLA.
3 Pittsburgh 55 - Had a chance to beat the old boss, but couldn't get it done.
2 UCLA 64 - Style of play keeps them in every game, and it was perfect for this opponent.
South:
3 Texas A&M 64 - Weren't able to take advantage of the home court; players had to know that their coach would be mentioned for the Kentucky job.
2 Memphis 65 - Able to beat a disciplined team which is sometimes hard for them.
5 Tennessee 84 - Their style of play always allows the opponent a chance to come back, even when it's a 20 point game.
1 Ohio St. 85 - Didn't panic; Able to win with their best players all in foul trouble.
