Mississippi St. 84 Kentucky 82 OT

Kentucky managed to give another game away, and this time it was worse than ever. Thomas made a huge mistake by leaving the lane while Meeks was receiving the ball from the ref to shoot a free throw. If Meeks could have made that last shot, UK would have been up by 4 with just 5 seconds remaining. Tubby has taken responsibility for causing Thomas to leave the lane, which is good to see from a coach who is already under tons of pressure.

Even after that, UK had a chance in overtime, but Crawford would not allow anyone else to get involved. Morris had a great game with 29 pts, 15 reb, 3 blks, 2 stl, and 2 ast, but they quit going to him in overtime. Mississippi St. continued to make shots and was able to get the win.

Bradley hurt Kentucky more than he helped them by having 6 turnovers, 4 fouls, and just 3 points. Perry didn't show up either in his last SEC game ever. He had just 5 points on 1-5 shooting. Despite all of the bad play from these 2, UK still had a good chance to win, but just not being focused cost them the game. It's sad that this is what Thomas might be remembered for, but many UK fans will never forgive this mistake. I would love to see Sheray have a great NCAA Tournament and help get Kentucky further than what most people would expect.
