Saturday's Results

Another big name lost tonight, and this time it was number 1. Florida got knocked off by Kansas 82-80 in overtime. Most people will talk about how great Kansas is now, but Florida gave the Jayhawks alot of help. Florida played worse than I've seen them in 2 years. Some of the credit does of course have to go to Kansas for causing Florida problems, but it looked at times like the Gators just didn't want to try. The defense was allowing way too many easy shots, and the offense was stagnant. Florida usually plays great team basketball, but it looked like too many individuals were wanting to be heroes tonight.

This won't hurt Florida in the long run, but it will help Kansas. The Big 12 is going to be down for the most part. Kansas has a good chance to win the conference. Texas is very young, but talented, and Texas A&M hasn't proven anything yet. Their schedule picks up when they visit LSU and UCLA.
