A Big Week for Basketball

What a great week for college baskteball this is going to be. There's almost nothing as good as being able to watch baskeball from the afternoon to after midnight.

The new Top 25 is out, and a couple of top 10 teams fell quite a bit. Kasas fell from 3 to 10 after it's loss to Oral Roberts. We'll see how they stack up against the big boys when they take on Florida on Saturday. Georgetown also fell from 8 to 14 with their loss to Old Dominion. Boston College went from 14 to 23 and Texas and Creighton both dropped out of the AP poll. Maryland got in at 25 after beating St. John's and Michigan St., they probably deserve to be higher than this. Kentucky went up 2 places to 20, but is just the 4th highest ranked team in Maui this week. (5) UCLA, (12) Memphis, and (19) Georgia Tech are all ahead of the Cats, but there is a good chance that UK will face 2 of those teams, they just need to first take care of DePaul.

Playing in Maui is great exposure for Kentucky and they have a chance to make some noise. ESPN goes crazy of this tournament like no other, and you can bet that they'll promoting it and showing highlights on every SportsCenter.

For my upset of the night, I'm picking Air Force to win at Duke. Air Force is the kind of disciplined team that can really bother Duke. If they don't get caught up in the whole "Duke Experience," they have a great shot tonight. Duke lost lots of talent and experience from last year's team.

Look for lots of updates this week.
