Time to Prove You Belong

There are so many teams that are thought of as being pretty good, but they have no big wins to prove it. One quick example is Syracuse who 7-2, but lost both they're games to quality teams (Wichita St. & Okla. St.). Kentucky is another team that has had its chance to prove they are a Top 25 team, but have lost to UCLA, Memphis, & North Carolina. All those losses were to ranked teams, but you have to beat some big names too. UK has 2 games to prove they are for real vs. Indiana and @ Louisville, who played Arizona very close.

The team I want to focus on right now is Tennessee. They were a huge surprise last year, but are they capable of another season like that this year? Their losses are to Butler and North Carolina, which aren't bad losses, but they haven't beaten anybody really good either. These next 4 games will make a big impact on how they do the rest of the year:

vs. Memphis (6-1 Lost to Ga. Tech)
vs. Western Kentucky (7-1 Lost to Florida)
vs. Oklahoma St. (10-0)
vs. Texas (5-2 Lost to Mich. St. & Gonzaga)

Now all those games are at home, except the Ok. St. game which is in Nashville. I could see UT winning all of those games, but they could also lose all 4. The Vols also get to travel to Ohio St. in January for another chance to prove themselves if they aren't able to this time.
