Friday's Bracket Buster
Tomorrow is Bracket Buster Saturday, but Friday's game might have busted Missouri State's bracket hopes. Tomorrow is a huge day for all of the Mid-Majors to prove they belong in the tournament.
Winthrop 77 (23-4, 12-0) - Won 13 straight; Only losses were to UNC, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Texas A&M; making a strong case for an at-large bid.
Missouri St. 66 (19-9, 10-6) - This was bad for their tournament chances. Will probably finish 3rd in the MVC, and they needed this win to show they were better than the Mid-Majors from other conferences. Instead, they suffered their worst home loss of the season.
