Saturday's Results

Top 25:

Oakland 53
(1) UCLA 74 - Will stay in this spot for at least a few more weeks.

(2) Pittsburgh 75 - This shouldn't be much of a surprise after winning by just 3 at Buffalo.
(7) Wisconsin 89 - Back to back Saturday wins vs. Marquette and Pittsburgh.

N.C. Asheville 62
(3) North Carolina 93

(9) Alabama 77
Southern Miss. 64

Jacksonville 58
(13) Texas A&M 97 - Still hard to read this team, because they've lost to the 2 good teams they played, but beaten everybody else.

(16) Gonzaga 83 - This looked more like the teams of the past few years that play no defense.
Georgia 96 - Move to 7-1 after impressive victory.

Portland St. 73
(17) Washington 105

Purdue 65 - I still think they're one of the most improved teams.
(18) Butler 68 - Good chance to lose very few more games the rest of the season.

MD Baltimore Cty. 46
(20) Marquette 68 - Very easy schedule for rest of non-conference will help the little slide they were on.

(4) Ohio St. 72 - With Oden they might be the best team in the country. I think they would have won at UNC if they wouldn't have tried to run with them.
Cincinnati 50 - They couldn't compete in this game, but we'll learn much more about them vs. NC St., Miami (OH), Ohio, and Memphis in next 4 games.

Elon 63
(21) Notre Dame 94

Baylor 71
(23) Syracuse 94

Pacific 53
(25) Nevada 60

Other Games:

Texas Tech 71 - Good win at a tough place to play.
Arkansas 56 - Surprised by this loss.

Bradley 76
Iowa St. 66

Western Kentucky 79
Tennessee 93 - I think this team is really improving.

Kentucky's Non-Conference Opponents:

DePaul 89
Rhode Island 81

Oral Roberts 72
Chattanooga 76

Santa Clara 62
Stanford 46
