Wednesday's Scores

Top 25:

Purdue 64 (13-6, 2-3)
(2) Wisconsin 69 (18-1, 4-0) - Will be interesting to see how they play on the road against the top half of the conference since they are now the "hunted."

(4) North Carolina 77 (16-2, 3-1) - Still in great position to win the ACC even with a loss @ Va. Tech.
(19) Clemson 55 (17-2, 3-2) - 2nd straight loss; next few games a huge to see if they can really contend in the ACC.

Northwestern 41 (10-8, 0-5)
(7) Ohio St. 73 (15-3, 3-1)

(10) Alabama 73 (14-3, 1-2) - 0-3 on the road and none of the games have been close; lost by 14 @ Notre Dame, 27 @ Arkansas, and 21@ Vandy.
Vanderbilt 94 (12-6, 2-2) - Huge home court advantage, but 0-2 on the road; 3 of next 4 are @ Kentucky, @ LSU, and @ Florida.

Mississippi 55 (12-6, 1-3)
(16) LSU 62 (13-4, 2-1) - Haven't looked impressive in conference play yet.

Youngstown St. 39 (8-11, 3-4)
(18) Butler 67 (16-2, 4-1)

(20) Notre Dame 87 (15-3, 3-2) - 0-2 on the road in the Big East.
Villanova 102 (12-5, 2-3) - Big win that may help them get back in contention for the tournament.

(22) Tennessee 80 (13-5, 1-2) - 3 straight losses.
Auburn 83 (12-7, 2-2)

(23) Virginia Tech 73 (13-5, 3-1) - Have to be able to win the "non-marquee" games.
Florida St. 82 (13-5, 1-4)

Other Scores:

Cincinnati 76 (9-8, 0-3)
Syracuse 77 (15-4, 4-1) - 2nd place in the Big East.

Georgetown 68 (12-5, 2-2)
Rutgers 54 (8-10, 1-4)

New Mexico St. 71 (14-4, 4-1) - Stops 13 game winning streak; this kind of loss hurts when you're trying for a bid and you play in a "mid-major."
Louisiana Tech 73 OT (5-12, 3-2)

Southern Illinois 68 (14-5, 5-3) - Big games they need to win @ Creighton and vs. N. Iowa coming up.
Evansville 75 (10-9, 3-5)

Kentucky's Opponents:

Georgia 67 (11-5, 3-1)
Arkansas 64 (12-6, 1-3) - Bad home loss especially when they 0-4 on the road this year.

Houston 71 (6-9, 1-2)
Rice 76 (9-7, 3-1)

Bowling Green 60 (6-10, 2-2)
Miami (OH) 66 (10-7, 1-3)
