It's Time!

Tonight is UK's opening game vs. Miami (OH). I thought that UK looked impressive in both pre-season games, but how much does that translate into the regular season? Miami is coming off a 1 point loss to Wright St. on Saturday. This game will probably be ugly, and show lots of mistakes by both teams (like most early season games do). I think that in the end UK will end up with a 15 point win, 76-61.

I'm also going to start predicting an upset of the night. It will always consist of either a Top 25 team, or a team from a power conference. Tonight's upset is Vanderbilt over (8) Georgetown. Vandy actually beat them last year on the road, and Memorial Gym is not an easy place to play for anybody.
